for protecting the environment is the bottom-line, and one
that we all must share. TravelTrac LLC has a committed environmental
policy and will dedicate a minimum of 1% of gross revenues
to key environmental and social organization designed to raise
global awareness in protecting and educating the planet.
By developing leisure and adventure travel genre domains designed
to focus on specific recreational interest and by providing
venue to environmental and social organization TravelTrac
intends to involve active participants in adopting and supporting
these important causes. Our genre specific domains will
attract like-minded travel enthusiasts interested in sharing
personal adventures, recreational hobbies, travel agendas,
photos, and video clips to a social network of family, friends,
and acquaintances. Registration is free for all participants
and all registrants will complete profile information that
shares their personal interests, environmental concerns, and
travel adventures. This data will be used to establish
targeted TravelTrac links to key articles, charitable organizations,
genre specific advertising, and promote additional travel
destinations of interest and so that interaction with other
like-minded enthusiasts can be initiated which can further
development of an interactive medium via TravelTrac's leisure
and adventure domains and platform.
TravelTrac’s initial two portals:
SailTrac
- with a core focus on sailing, boating, marine travel,
and ocean going adventure and exploration.
TrekTrac
- a broad domain for the adventure traveler focusing on
global land based exploration allowing registered users
to share their unique travel adventures whether hiking,
mountaineering, on safari, or just vacationing in an exotic
locale or day tripping.
Additional genre domains will be developed
replicating TravelTrac’s core business practices established
with the advent of these two primary market segments. Both
initial genres benefit TravelTrac development by the inherent
use of GPS technology in most or all undertakings which
will provide a channel for users to develop and create custom
maps with interactive presentations sharing their adventures
combined with weather, geotagged photos, text, and video
clips to communicate their personal experiences while integrating
global awareness and educational commentary from key environmental
organizations.
Each registered account holder will have the opportunity
to create a custom address book of contacts, and extend
an invitation to others who indicate interest in their travels
or may be traveling in the same locale or simply have visited
a TravelTrac domain and desires participation in the account
registrants adventures. These approved contacts will receive
automatically generated e-mails when updated information
is posted to the user's account allowing for a focus on
the journey rather than the often unwanted interruption
or distraction of direct communication.
Integrating both direct Internet access
and wireless remote technology gives TravelTrac registered
users the ability to add real time GPS position reporting
from third party devices which auto-populate mapping and
routing waypoints, and permit the addition of other multimedia
pieces including text, photos, and video clips delivered
to their networks in content rich format even without direct
online interaction.
Primary revenues
will be generated from integrated advertising specific to
core genres. TravelTrac will abstain from integrating or
delivering pop-up ads or direct e-mail marketing of its
contact databases. Both are seen as a disruptive interference
in social networking venues and detrimental to core development
of market share and web page views that are a measurement
of financial valuation and performance.
Traveltrac will focus core advertising dollars by genre
segmentation. This allows for a potential advertiser of,
for example, camping equipment to reach not only core market
segment but active, well healed participants, interested
in that endeavor. Naturally, TravelTrac will additionally
appeal to broad based advertisers, focused on generating
revenues and providing services to our database of active
lifestyle participants in need of remote banking and credit
services, GPS and technology hardware providers, communication
and wireless networking companies, travel and leisure segments,
and active lifestyle proponents and manufacturers that will
lead TravelTrac to profitability as registrations and use
of its domains begin to consolidate broader internet traffic.
More importantly TravelTrac user will be receptive
and open to participating and supporting key advertising
programs via our domains KNOWING that all TravelTrac domains
donate a significant portion of gross operating profit to
key environmental and social causes from revenues generated
by this interaction.
Simplicity is the key; by keeping our programs simple to
use and easy to navigate and providing the best integrated
technology services available for travel and trip sharing
we help our customers disseminate information about the
world around them in real time with a focus on their distinct
interests, concerns and causes. TravelTrac must remain simple
to use, flexible to the needs of our customers, and adaptive
to new technology and mediums to send and update information
by and for our customers. When our ability to exceed that
exacting criteria is recognized there will be no doubt about
our ability to profit and grow.
Another important aspect of our business development is
in defining our social awareness and environmental agenda.
While TravelTrac will not evolve into an electronic political
soapbox designed to rant for social change, it is imperative
that we use the medium to develop and promote a “green”
agenda and raise awareness for global issues that deserve
attention and impact our planet’s health and vibrancy.
We desire commentary and affiliation with both for profit
and not for profit organizations focused on pressing social
and environmental issues throughout the globe. A friend
of the planet will be a resource to TravelTrac and they
will be provided a free platform to promote and raise awareness
which will be of significant interest to our registered
users and viewers internationally who traverse the world
and want to share in letting others know what the pressing
issues are or should be.
